How to download a Twitter or X video

1. Open the post on X

   In the X app or on x.com, find the post that contains the video. It must be public.

2. Copy the link

   Tap Share, then Copy link. On desktop you can also copy the address from the browser bar.

3. Paste and look up

   Paste the link into the box above (or use the Paste button) and press Find video.

4. Check the preview

   Confirm it is the video you meant. The author and duration are shown when available.

5. Choose a quality and save

   Press the download button next to the quality you want. Your browser then saves the MP4.

If it does not work

• The post may be private, protected, deleted or contain no video.
• The link must point to a single post, not a profile or a search page.
• If the status banner says the server is unconfigured, downloads are not available on this deployment.
